| Bluegrass Bankers Association was established in 2001, with the unique mission to exclusively represent the interests and welfare of the Community Banks located throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A primary effort of the Association is to ensure proper representation of our member banks before the legislature at the State Capitol. BBA retains a full-time lobbyist for this purpose. Our lobbyist has participated extensively in the legislative sessions and will continue to do so in the future. Bluegrass Bankers Association also sponsors numerous informal events and gatherings that allow members the opportunity to exchange ideas and views on issues and problems they may have in common. In addition, BBA is continually seeking and assessing quality vendors and consultants who are capable of enhancing our members operations at acceptable costs. We welcome these vendors as Associated Members or, in exceptional cases, Endorsed Participants. BBA is the Independent Community Bankers of America affiliate in Kentucky and we support a number of their services and projects. |
